Jacob은 어린 시절, 크리스마스 즈음에 처음으로 복음을 깨달았습니다. 담임 목사님의 설교를 통해 하나님께서 인류의 죄의 형벌을 대신 지불하시기 위해 독생자를 이 땅에 보내셨음을 마음으로 받아들이며, 오직 예수님만을 자신의 구주로 신뢰하게 되었습니다. 여덟 살 때 버지니아로 이사하며 월코 사역이 활발한 교회에 출석하게 되었고, 뉴욕 월코 캠프 참석을 계기로 월비에 진학하기로 결단하였습니다. 그곳에서 하나님께서는 그의 마음에 아시아를 향한 선교의 부담을 심어 주셨고, 이후 2년간의 선교사 훈련과 리버티 대학교 종교학 학위를 마치며 한국 사역을 위해 부름 받게 되었습니다. Crystal은 기독교 가정에서 태어나 복음의 환경 안에서 자랐습니다. 네 살 때 아버지의 설교를 통해 마음에 질문이 생겨났고, 예배 후 어머니께 복음에 대해 묻는 과정에서 예수 그리스도를 개인의 구주로 영접하게 되었습니다. 열세 살에 자신의 삶을 그리스도를 위해 살아야 한다는 분명한 확신을 가지고 전적으로 헌신하였습니다. 월비에서 2년간 수학한 후 데이비스 칼리지에서 기독교 사역 전공 학사 학위를 취득하였으며, 현재 Jacob과 다섯 딸—키에라, 알레야, 제이다, 엘라, 카리사—과 함께 한국 사역에 기쁘게 동참하고 있습니다.
Jacob first understood the gospel around Christmastime as a child. Through his pastor's preaching, he came to believe that God sent His only Son to pay the penalty for humanity's sin, and he placed his trust in Jesus alone as his Savior. At the age of eight, he moved to Virginia and began attending a church deeply connected to the Word of Life ministry. After attending Word of Life camp in New York, he committed to studying at the Bible Institute. There, God placed a burden for missions in Asia on his heart. After completing two years of missionary training and earning a degree in Religion from Liberty University, he was led into ministry in Korea. Crystal was raised in a Christian home and grew up surrounded by the gospel. At the age of four, questions began to form in her heart while listening to her father preach. After the service, she asked her mother about the gospel and personally received Jesus Christ as her Savior. At thirteen, she became fully convinced that her life should be lived for Christ and dedicated herself to Him completely. After two years at the Bible Institute, she earned a bachelor's degree in Christian Ministries from Davis College. Today, she joyfully serves in Korea alongside Jacob and their five daughters — Kiera, Aleya, Jada, Ella, and Karisa.
