군 복무 중 한 장교가 그에게 복음을 전해 주었고, 절에 갔을 때 부처가 한낱 우상에 불과하다는 것을 깨닫게 되었습니다. 일주일 뒤 교회 예배에서 다시 복음을 들으며 바로 그날 예수님을 구주로 영접하였습니다. 이후 한국에서 제자훈련을 받고 미국으로 건너가 4년간 성경을 공부한 후, 하나님께서는 그를 월코로 이끄셨습니다. 2001년 제자훈련을 받고자 월코에 합류하였으며, 이듬해 뉴욕 월비에 입학하였습니다. 현재는 남편 승현과 두 딸과 함께 주님을 섬기고 있습니다.

Samuel grew up in a Buddhist family with a tradition of ancestor worship. During middle school he lived a rebellious life, running with the wrong crowd, and in his early twenties he served two years in the Korean military. While serving, an officer shared the gospel with him. On a visit to a temple shortly after, he realized that the Buddha was nothing more than an idol. A week later, hearing the gospel again at a church service, he received Jesus Christ as his Savior that very day. After receiving discipleship training in Korea and spending four years studying the Bible in the United States, God led him to WOLKO. Jin-Ah was raised in a non-Christian home. She began attending church at the age of eleven, but it was not until she was twenty-two that she came to know Jesus personally. While studying the Wordless Book through Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF), the truth of the gospel became clear to her, and in the moment she recognized herself as a sinner, she received Jesus Christ as her Savior. In 2001 she joined WOLKO to receive discipleship training, and the following year enrolled at Word of Life Bible Institute in New York. Today she serves the Lord alongside her husband Samuel and their two daughters.
