Steve는 월드 오브 라이프 사역자 가정에서 태어났습니다. 네 살 때 어머니의 인도로 예수님을 처음 받아들였지만, 어린 시절 대부분을 자신의 신앙을 의심하며 보냈습니다. 5학년 때 가까운 친구 Lewis의 갑작스러운 죽음이 그를 크게 흔들었습니다. 자신의 신앙이 다른 친구들과 무엇이 다른지 자신에게 묻기 시작했고, 성경을 들고 하나님 앞에 나아가 개인적으로 하나님을 알기를 간구했습니다. 그날 이후 그는 구원을 의심한 적이 없습니다. 아시아를 향한 비전을 품고 월비를 통해 훈련받은 그는 WOL 아시아 사역에 합류하였으며, 현재 WOLBI 제주의 총장으로 30년 넘는 헌신의 열매를 이어가고 있습니다. Rhonda는 버지니아주 WOL 사역자 가정에서 자랐습니다. 여섯 살에 신앙고백을 했지만 오랫동안 구원의 확신이 없었고, 실제로 선교 현장에서 봉사하게 된 후에야 그리스도의 십자가가 자신의 과거·현재·미래의 죄를 완전히 덮기에 충분함을 깨달았습니다. 열여섯 살, 월드 오브 라이프 캠프파이어 예배에서 인생을 주님께 드렸습니다. 함께 30년 이상 아시아에서 주님을 섬기고 있으며, 네 자녀(Ben, Anna, Daniel, Abby)와 함께 하나님의 나라를 이루어가고 있습니다.
Steve was born into a Word of Life ministry family. At four years old, guided by his mother, he first received Christ — yet he spent much of his childhood doubting his own faith. In fifth grade, the tragic death of his classmate Lewis shook him deeply. Asking himself what made his faith any different, Steve took his Bible and went before God alone, seeking to know Him personally. From that day on he has never doubted his salvation. Carrying a vision for Asia and trained through WOLBI, he joined WOL's Asia ministry and now serves as Executive Dean of WOLBI Jeju, bearing the fruit of more than thirty years of faithful commitment. Rhonda grew up in a WOL ministry family in Virginia. She made a profession of faith at six years old, but lived for many years without assurance of her salvation. It was not until she was actively serving on the mission field that she came to understand that the cross of Christ is fully sufficient to cover her sins — past, present, and future. At sixteen, at a WOL campfire service, she surrendered her life to the Lord. Together they have now served the Lord in Asia for over thirty years, alongside their four children — Ben, Anna, Daniel, and Abby.
